The students of GRV PU College participated in 'Best out of Waste' competition held on 27th September 2019. The objective of the competition was to create awareness towards our environment.
Students used their imagination and creativity to make innovative things with the help of broken bangles, plastic bottles, waste nails, peanut shell, beads, cardboard, thermocol, used paper glasses, old CD etc. Using this waste items they made variety of things like cloth doll, wall hanging with bangles, snow man made of paper glass, night lamp with bottle, handbags, cloth bags, decorative items, flower vase and paper flowers. The criteria for the competition were presentation, materials used, innovation and creativity.
The activity displayed creativity of the students and developed sense of awareness towards environment. Our Principal, Dr. Priya Ponmurugan appreciated the imagination of students and motivated them to reduce the waste to save our planet Earth.
