GRV PU College conducted "Cooking without Fire Competition" on 23 September 2023. The competition was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without flame and to encourage students to stay away from the junk food.
To commemorate the birth of the second President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a philosopher and a great teacher, 5th September every year is celebrated as Teacher's Day.
GRV PU College conducted an Ethnic Day on 27th August 2023. Ethnic Day is a day of celebration for the diversity of cultures and ethnicities. It enables the young generation to revive love and respect for our own culture and history.

GRV Group of Institution organized kids carnival on February 8th 2020 at HMT Ground & was open to public. The HMT ground was looking colorful with numerous fun game stalls, craft corner, jewelry and ghost photo booth were set up along with food court, which showcased the efficiency of teachers, parents and students.

GRV PU College Organized one day trip to Wonderla Theme Park for I & II year PUC students on Dec 18th & 19th. Science & Commerce students of our college went to the trip. They started at 8.30 am in the morning after prayer from GRV PU College. The students enjoyed in the bus, danced & sang till they reached the venue.

GRV PU College organized Mr. & Miss GRV Competition in the college premises on 21st September. More than 80 students participated in this competition from I & II year PUC. In that 25 members were selected for the final day program based on their confidence & answering skills.
GRV PU College students attended Inter-college Fest UDAAN 2019 at Sheshadripuram on 14th September 2019. The event commenced with registration for students at Sheshadripuram College premises. 50 students from our College (Science & Commerce) attended the Fest accompanied by the lecturers Mrs. Shilpa & Mrs. Ramya.
We celebrate Teachers' Day every year throughout the country on 5th September. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan - Second President of India. The great academic philosopher, and one of the most well-known diplomats, scholar, President of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teachers' day
Poetry is the core of literature. To spread the fragrance of poetry among the students, a recitation competition was held in English, Kannada & Hindi on 30th Aug, 2019 in GRV PU College. This competition was conducted to expand student's experience and exposure to poetry.
"Career Development and Personality Grooming" workshop was organized by "Gillette" at GRV PU College Auditorium, on August 24, 2019. In this event, GRV PU College & Degree College students participated. They gained knowledge on "How to Develop Smart & Confident Personality" through a series of activities. Trainer of the workshop spoke on various dimension of a corporate personality.
To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body. With the beginning of the new academic session for the year 2019-2020, an Investiture Ceremony was organized on the 2nd of August 2019 at GRV PU College. The ceremony started by lightening the lamp which signifies removal of darkness and the continuous upward movement of the flame denotes the path of wisdom and divinity.
GRV PU College collaborated with the team of Senior Dentist lead by Dr. Anu Thomas along with 5 more doctors from Rajiv Gandhi Dental College, organized a free dental checkup and awareness camp in GRV PU College premises on 31/7/19. Free Dental health check-up camps are provided for making GRV Students aware about dental problems.
The election voting took place in the college auditorium at 13/7/19. The students were eager to cast vote for their respective desired candidate. The candidates were alluring the voters for voting them. False practice was assured not to be done by the lectures. Our Administrator Mrs. Poonam Gururaj & PU College Principal - Dr. Priya Ponmurugan and all the  Lecturers cast their vote.

On June 29th Saturday noon, several students of the GRV PU College were engrossed in cooking without fire. Our young students showcased their culinary skills as they made some scrumptious dishes for the "Fireless Cooking" event. Mouthwatering dishes like salads with fruits and vegetables, bhel puri, sandwiches, biscuit, chocolate pudding and other delicious desserts, were competing with one another. Mixing the ingredients, adding the flavors and eating together was the highlight of the event.

RANGOLI making competition was conducted on 12/10/2018 Friday at GRV PU college auditorium to celebrate the occasion of Navarathri. Rangoli is originated from two words Rang which means colors and Holi which means celebration. So Rangoli is an artistic celebration of colors.
Hindi Divas was celebrated in GRV PU College on September 29, 2018 with great zeal and enthusiasm. Mr. Gyanchand Marmargya, a renowned Hindi Poet and well-known Writer graced the occasion as a chief guest. The Program commenced with the Lightning of Lamp by Mr. Gyanchand Marmargya, Mr. Gururaj (President, GRV Group of Institutions), Mr. Munir Ahmed (Academic Director, GRV Academy) and Principals of GRV Group of Institutions. Program started with welcome speech by Mrs. Neena (Hindi Lecturer).
On 21st September 2018 GRV PU College had organized an interactive awareness workshop about drug abuse & its ill effects in collaboration with RT Nagar Police Station. The workshop was conducted by sub inspector Irrappa & his team members.
PU College on 18/09/2018 Tuesday, conducted eco-friendly Ganesha idol making workshop as well as competition for our PU students. Our College co-ordinator Mrs. Megha Uppal taught the students how to make Ganesha idol with clay. The main aim was to teach them the basic of sculpting & environmental friendly Ganesha idol in the time of festival season. Students made beautiful Ganesha idols and the best was selected.

GRV School, GRV PU College and GRV Management college collected the essential items like tooth brush, paste, washing powder, soaps, candles, towel, bed sheets, sanitary napkin, dettol, cotton, oil, sugar, atta, biscuits and essential medicines.
