GRV PU College Organized "Cooking without Fire" competition on 20th July 2018 Friday. This activity was conducted to motivate and empower students to make a choice of healthy food through hands on learning with fresh, affordable price from diverse cultures. This competition was a fun learning package to the students. It was an opportunity for the students to improve their skills & creativity in their work apart from their academic.
The participants prepared varieties of dishes like Fruit Salads, Chocolate Desserts, Sandwiches, Delicious Cakes, Chat Basket, Fruit Creamy Salad, Dry Fruit Biscuit, Chocolate Balls, Mocktails, Biscuit Fruit Cake, Guava Pineapple Welcome Drink, Subway Burgers, Sprouted Bhel, American Basket Fruit Raita, Moong Sprouted Salad, Chocolates Chops Sandwiches, Bhel Puri etc.
Students showed their culinary skills by using their creativity and displayed the dishes. The judges Mrs. Megha Uppal and our Principal Dr. Priya Murugan finalized the winners on the basis of certain criteria like savors, healthy ingredients & overall presentation of the dish.
