GRV PU College conducted "Cooking without Fire Competition" on 23 September 2023. The competition was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without flame and to encourage students to stay away from the junk food. Through this activity the students learnt the spirit of teamwork and culinary skills. The aim of the activity was to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and explore new areas of interest.
The students prepared healthy dishes like Cucumber, Papaya Salad, Lemonade, Cashew Paan Cake, Chat, Sandwiches, Shakes, Mojito, Chocolate Lollypop Delight and many more quick recipes. They displayed the dishes in an artistic and aesthetic way.
Finally the competition was judged by our principal Dr. Priya Ponmurugan by tasting all the dishes prepared by the participants. The show ended with the prize distribution ceremony, where the winners were applauded with prizes.
