On 18th July 2026, GRV PU College hosted a vibrant and high-energy Fresher's Day celebration at its GRV Center of Excellence campus in Devanahalli to welcome the incoming batch of first-year Pre-University students. The event commenced with an auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony followed by motivational addresses from the college administrator MRS. Poonam Gururaj and Principal Dr. Priya Ponmurugan, who emphasized academic focus and discipline. Second-year seniors quickly broke the ice by organizing a series of highly entertaining fun games and teamwork challenges that filled the auditorium with laughter and camaraderie. The absolute highlight of the day was the glamorous Ramp Walk, where stylish freshers confidently took to the runway before navigating a competitive Question-and-Answer round judged by the faculty. Based on their quick wit and confidence, the ultimate titles of Mr. GRV and Miss GRV were proudly awarded to the top contestants. Complemented by energetic dance performances from the senior Science and Commerce streams and capped off with a high-octane DJ session, the celebration successfully drove away all new-college anxieties and set a joyful, collaborative tone for the upcoming academic year.
