On 15th August 2018 GRV PU College was celebrated 72nd Independence Day with great enthusiasm and respect. Indian tricolor was unfurled in the school field in the morning. Thereafter, the cultural program began with great pomp and show. The anchors for the day was Syed Sabir & Divya. Ayesha Siddiqha welcomed the guest Mrs. Poonam Gururaj Administrative Secretory, GRV Institutions and the audience.
The program began with patriotic song. Mime program was enacted by the students to show the importance of Flag. Poetry recited by sheetal enthralled the audience. Students performed the dance Jai Ho which attracted everyone. The main attraction was the ethnic show performed by the students of first and second year PU students. 50 students participated in the show and displayed the diversity of Indian culture. The vote of thanks was delivered by Aiman Fatima and the function was concluded with the National Anthem.
