On 26 June, an impactful awareness program on the International Day against Drug Abuse and lllicit Trafficking was successfully conducted at GRV Pre University College in collaboration with the RT Nagar Police Station. The keynote speaker, sub-Inspector Husain Basha, delivered an informative talk detailing how substance abuse destroys student futures, relationships, and health. Sl Husain Basha thoroughly briefed the students on the strict legal consequences surrounding narcotics possession and trafficking under Indian law, which was followed by an interactive session on resisting peer pressure. The event culminated with a mass anti-drug pledge take by the students and faculty, prompting deep gratitude from the college management towards the Bengaluru City Police for their proactive efforts is safeguarding the youth.
