To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body. With the beginning of the new academic session for the year 2019-2020, an Investiture Ceremony was organized on the 2nd of August 2019 at GRV PU College.
The ceremony started by lightening the lamp which signifies removal of darkness and the continuous upward movement of the flame denotes the path of wisdom and divinity.
The Chief Guest Mrs. Poonam Gururaj motivated the children to keep moving forward despite all the obstacles and challenges that life throws in front of us. She said that being a leader is a vital role and that the new Student Council would have ample responsibilities to shoulder.
The newly elected student council members pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honor and glory of the institution while receiving their prestigious badges and sash from our Principal Dr. Priya Ponmurugan.
With the flags held high and heads standing tall, the ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
