Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated with great enthusiasm at GRV PU College by the students of 11TH & 12TH in the college auditorium on Nov 19th. Students showcased their talent and exhibited their love for their beloved state Karnataka. All the students came in red and yellow colour dress to grace the occasion.
The programme started with the lighting of lamp by our administrator Mrs.Poonam Gururaj & our principal Dr. Priya Ponmurugan. Our 2nd year commerce student Sindhu danced with Deepa for the song Hacchevu Kannada Deepa. Our Kannada lecturer Ravi Sir had conducted quiz, debate and essay competition for which the prizes were given to the winners by our administrator.
The students were able to spread the fragrance of kannada language with their spectacular dance performance and singing. The event generated a sense of pride in the minds of the audience.
